St. Mary’s South London Sunday School secured second place at the 2025 Sunday School Kalotsavam of the MJSSA (Malankara Jacobite Syrian Sunday School Association) South East Region. The arts festival was held under the presidency of Zonal Director Rev. Fr. Philip Thomas and was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Eldhose Vengadath. The competitions took place on June 29 at St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School in Waterlooville, Hampshire, with St. Mary’s Hampshire Sunday School serving as the host. The event featured a variety of competitions, including Primary Solo (Malayalam), Solo (Malayalam), Solo (English), Group Song (Malayalam), Group Song (Syriac), Speech (Malayalam), Speech (English), Golden Verses, and Bible Test.
