Biblical education has been documented in the Holy Bible from the time of Moses as being of utmost importance. Through God’s spokesman, Moses, the Israelites were charged to teach His Holy Commandments to their children, “Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home” (Deuteronomy 6:7). At that time, many Israelites instructed their children in the home setting. Fathers educated sons in all aspects of the Israelite faith. The wealthy we learn in the Holy Book of II Kings 10:6, often hired professional teachers to instruct their children. Through out Bible we can see many verses describing importance of teaching
Joel 01:03 “Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation.”
Proverb 22:06 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Isaiah 54:13 “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”
Proverb 16:16 “How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.”
