On Sunday, 31 May 2026, members of St Mary’s JSOC, South London, attended the Priesthood Anniversary Celebration of Rev. Fiona Weaver, Parish Priest of St Mark’s Woodcote and St Swithun’s Purley.
Our relationship with Rev. Fiona and her parishes is a wonderful example of true ecumenical fellowship and Christian brotherhood. When we did not have a place of worship, Rev. Fiona and the congregation of St Swithun’s Church graciously extended their hospitality, welcoming us into their church and demonstrating the true spirit of Christian fellowship and unity. We remain deeply grateful for their generosity, friendship, and unwavering support.
Last year, Rev. Fiona visited South India and took the opportunity to visit our seminary in Mulanthuruthy, Kerala, further strengthening the bond between our churches.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, our church choir presented a special song in her honour, and Dr Zinu Philipose conveyed the heartfelt greetings and best wishes of our congregation. Rev. Fiona’s invitation to share in this special occasion reflects her genuine affection and support for our church community.
We extend our sincere congratulations and prayerful best wishes to Rev. Fiona Weaver on this blessed milestone in her priestly ministry. May God continue to guide and strengthen her as she serves His people.
